It literally was a good Friday for Trishna KC Thapa of Banke, Ruben Magar of Sunsari, Bijay Sah Kanu of Bara, Dipendra Chand of Dhangadhi and Bindu Jaiswal of Rupandehi as they were declared winners for the first week of Ncell's "Get Wise, Win Prize" scheme. Trishna will be using a BlackBerry smart phone, Ruben will be fiddling with a Laptop, Bijay will make a merry trip to Thailand, Dipendra will enjoy the cricket world cup on a LCD screen while Bindu Jaiswal will cruise on a motorcycle now.

The respective winners were handed over their win amidst a program at Ncell's head office, Krishna Towers in Kathmandu on February 22, 2011, Tuesday. Ncell also arranged for their visit to Kathmandu to collect their prizes.

Further, the subscriber spending the highest amount to participate in the scheme and not fortunate to win any prize was refunded with all his expense in dialing 9090 to participate. Any Ncell subscriber can be a part of the winning spree which will continue for 10 weeks by dialing 9090, upon which they will receive a popular quote and a registration number. Every Friday evening, winners will be announced via live television show on Kantipur TV at 7:30pm.

At the end of the scheme on the 10th week, there will be two bumper prizes in addition to the 5 weekly prizes which will allow subscribers to win a Hyundai Car and 10 lakh Rupees.
