Ncell has successfully created one more milestone by upgrading to a world class technology used only by some handful developed countries of the world till date. Ncell is the first service provider to use it among TeliaSonera Group within 20 country operations.

Pasi Koistinen CEO of Ncell said more than 250 professional experts of their field have been working on this project round the clock. The project took altogether nine months to implement and cut over to new system was made during last week end. The new hardware capacity compares to over 1000 laptops and 5 kilometers of cable was installed!

The new Business Support System will enable Ncell to provide new campaigns and benefits which the subscribers will experience soon. Thus, we all can feel pride on being the part of such advanced technology.

However, every substantial evolution comes with some minor side effects: the data transferred (over 4 million customer’s credentials) was huge and there were some hitches. E.g. after cut over to new system, some customers have faced recharge problems and due to that, Ncell has faced longer than normal waiting times at the Customer Care.

Ncell appreciates its subscriber’s humble patience and has promised that whatsoever little problems faced, if any, would be taken care of in the shortest of possible time and would be well compensated.
