Introducing new number and new dialing format:

Ncell, the pioneering private telecom service providers of Nepal has been able to create huge interest from the subscribers. Introduction of various innovative offers backed up with highest call success rate and high standards of services and customer care, Ncell has witnessed an unprecedented growth in its subscribers. 

Also the rebranding and the pleasant changes which were obvious along with its promise to continue such innovative offers in future, subscriber numbers are going further higher. In this scenario, Ncell has announced new dialing codes and made some alterations in the previous ones. Along with numbers starting from 980 indexes, Ncell is now introducing 981 indexes as well for its subscribers.

"This had to be done to accommodate our rapidly growing number of subscribers said Pasi Koistinen CEO of Ncell.

All Ncell subscribers will need to dial 10 digit codes i.e. 980xxxxxxx or 981xxxxxxx within the network.
Seven digit dialing format previously available as in 980 will not be available in 981.  However, the 7 digit dialing format will be available within 980 indexes only.

To make things less confusing, henceforth all Ncell subscribers will be able to dial other operator’s Mobile numbers in 10 digit format .Earlier Ncell subscribers had to add 0 as prefix to connect with other GSM numbers.
